Saint Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church

Church school classes will begin on Sunday, September 13, 2015, following communion at the sung high Mass

The Theme of the 2015-2016 Sunday school year is "The Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom." (Proverbs 1:7).
Because many of our students come from far off places known as Wilbur and Cusick, both more than 100 miles away,
they are not always in church and while our Sunday school teachers are always prepared they are not always needed.

Classes for the children in the Kindergarten to Second grade (ages 3 to 8) are held in the St. Anne's Classroom
(she was the Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary) and are taught by Alida Roth and Karen Hunt and assisted by Shelly
Bolcher. The curriculum for that particular class this year is "God Loves Us." The classes range from 20 to 30
minutes in length and lessons are often finished at home between the child and his or her parents.

Classes for children in classes from gade 3 through 6 (ages 8 through 13) ae held in the "St. James the Greater" classroom
